SCINTISTS TURN SKIN CELLS INTO BLOOD (ARTICULO EN INGLES)

A research team opened the possibility of having an endless supply of blood to announce the discovery of a technique to directly transform the skin cells of adult blood.
the discovery of a group of scientists from MCMASTER UNIVERSITY in canada led by Dr. MICK BHATIA, and among them is the spanish researcher RUTH M. SMILEY.
"essentially we have shown the method allows us totake skin cells from adults and parents transform into blood, blood cells, without having to go through an intermediate stage which are cells induced pluripotent stem" said Dr. BHATIA.
"we used two kinds of cells of the sking. the team investigated cells of newborns and the older subjects. and at least for those cases, the result was almost the same" added Dr. BHATIA, director of the research institute cancer stem cells and MCMASTE university.
